Detailed Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival
Arrival Leh by morning flight and transfer to the hotel. After welcome drink take a complete
rest for acclimatization to the height altitude of Leh (3500 mtrs). In the late afternoon drive to
the city for an orientation walk in the markets‚ followed by a visit to Shanti Stupa‚ Leh palace
and Sankar Monastery.
Shanti Stupa: Located on the hill top at Changspa. The Stupa was constructed by Japanese
Buddhist organization, Known as "The Japanese for World Peace":
Leh Palace: Built in 17th century, it was built as the residential palace for the King Singge Namgyal. Overnight stay in hotel in Leh.
Day 02: Leh- Shey –Rancho School - Alchi- Leh:
After breakfast drive to visit to Shey Palace ,Rancho School ,Shey was the ancient capital of
Ladakh. After Lunch drive to towards Alchi. Later, drive back to leh enroute visit to Pathar
Sahib Gurudwara, Sangam, (Confluence of Zanskar & Indus River) Hall of Fame museum, In
the evening return to Leh.Overnight stay in hotel in Leh
Day 03: Leh - Nubra Valley
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley, also known as Valley of flowers via Khardungla, the
highest motorable road in the World, (18,380 ft). On your arrival in Nubra Valley check in the
hotel / camp. After lunch proceed to enjoy walk on the banks of Shayok river, you can also
enjoy a ride on double humped camel on the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village.
Dinner and overnight stay in nubra.
Day 04: Nubra Valley – Pangong lake
Proceed to Pangong lake via shayok route. Pangong lake is a salt water body of 120 km in
length and 6-7 km broad at the longest point.itis bisected by the international border between
India and china (2/3 of the lake is in china's possession) visit the exact location of famous movie
'Three' idiot and enjoy outing along the banks of the lake . One really feels very close to nature
at Pangong lake with its scenic surroundings. On a clear sunny day. you can see seven colour
formations in the crystal-clear salt water lake.
Dinner and overnight stay at Pangong.
DAY 05:– Pangong Lake - Leh :
Leave Pangong Lake after breakfast and retrace the road to Leh across the Changla Pass.
While descending Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. Enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the villages
below the pass, enroute visit to Hemis and Thiksey Monestary.
Hemis - naturally protected and hidden at the bottom of a gorge, the largest monastery of
Ladakh. It has the distinction of the largest treasured Tangkha the country that is held only
once every 12 years.
Thiksey - is one of the largest and most impressive Gompa. It also houses a two - storied statue
of Buddha which has the main prayer hall around its shoulder. Overnight stay in hotel in Leh
Day 06: Leh – Destination
Early morning transfer to the airport with sweet memories of Ladakh.
